Yes everyone, you heard that right, the company that everyone's childhood came to live is now being sued from what I feel, is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Apparently, just confirmed a few days ago that a woman is suing Disney for $250 million dollars for stealing her "Frozen" story.

Yes, this involves everyone's favourite movie "Frozen" (okay, most people, I know a couple of people who didn't like the movie, but I'm not judging them) which we all know the story is based around "Hans Christian Andersen's" Snow Queen. But everyone knows how popular this film is so it's not a surprise an attention seeker would ask for millions of dollars.

Apparently Disney "stole" from Isabella Tanikumi's autobiography "Living My Truth" and "Yearnings of the Heart" which was apparently published in 2011 (2 years before Frozen). From the storyline to where the characters live to apparently the characters names. But here's the document if anyone is interested:

Here's a couple of things I find wrong about this lawsuit:

The Autobiography?: I can understand if the autobiography was popular but if this "autobiography" was considered "popular" why does the story have 1 star ratings? Apparently it was a poorly written book and of course according to many people, many people did this idea before. How do I know it has 1 star ratings, here's the Amazon link, see for yourself.

Anna's name: Throughout that entire lawsuit document, they kept spelling Anna's name wrong. Instead of "Anna", it's "Ana". If you want a proper lawsuit, at least spell the characters' names right. I can understand if she made one mistake throughout the entire document with Anna's name but seeing the same mistake over and over again, you can tell it was not proofread.

Names of Characters: Apparently Hans and Kristoff's name was copied from the autobiography. Unfortunately I can't prove Kristoff's name however, I can prove Hans' name that pretty much helps Disney. "Hans" is actually connected to the "Snow Queen" story. The author of the series was named "Hans" Andersen which is possibly where the name came from, NOT the Isabella's story.

The Trolls with Powers: Isabella had problems when Kristoff from "Frozen" said his friends have "magical powers" because her characters also had magical powers. I might as well mention that in the old Norse Legend, it was said that Trolls had "mystical powers" which again, is nothing related to Isabella's story.

No Magical Powers in Isabella's Story: None of the characters have magical powers in her story, "The Snow Queen" actual does.

There's a few other things I can mention about this but this is only a brief list but the list, I can always update if I see anything else.

But what do you guys and girls think about this situation? Do you support Disney? Or Isabella? Any opinion is acceptable here.

I hope to talk to you all soon.
